  • I began working in sales and front desk clerk at 18. Advanced to teller work; then secretary for the NCO club in Panama. Back in the States, I worked for banks as a teller and savings bond clerk. In Texas, I worked as a fuel desk clerk and sales. Transitioned into over the road driving for 3.5 years.
  • Returning to the Carolinas, I was very privileged to work for Hechinger's and Home Quarters as paint, furniture, and housewares associate, next promoted to special order branch head until the doors closed during late 1990's. Started school a year later, which lead to part-time job, them full position at Webster University.
