Emily Malagon Zuniga

I am a compassionate caregiver with strong skills in patient‑centered communication, empathy, and child supervision. I manage time effectively while maintaining safety, engagement, and a warm, patient presence. I bring a foundational understanding of child development and safety, and I adapt quickly to new caregiving techniques. As a nursing student entering the summer term of my Associate Degree in Nursing program, I am passionate about caring for infants, children, and families. I strive to create joyful, safe, and supportive experiences for pediatric and maternal patients. My background in customer service has strengthened my ability to build trust with diverse populations, and my Spanish fluency allows me to advocate for families facing language barriers. I am eager to grow within a Women & Children’s Services role, where I can continue developing strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills. My long‑term goal is to become a skilled, compassionate NICU nurse who advocates for newborns and supports families through some of their most meaningful and challenging moments.
