I'm a CNA with clinical skills and experience, and I’m willing to learn new things and experience different roles. Being a CNA for me isn’t just being a caregiver; it’s being a best friend for someone in need. I want to be able to help change people's lives. It’ll allow me to hold space for someone in their most vulnerable sickest state. I get to be there for another person with a whole heart and who’s going to treat their patients how they would treat their loved ones, friends, or themselves. It’s also about being someone who has a sense of urgency and who knows when there is a serious issue happening. It's like being someone's safety net, someone to whom they can come when they’re feeling scared and alone. I want to be the person a patient will always remember because of how safe and comfortable they feel. I want to touch as many lives as possible. It only takes one moment, one person, to change things for someone.
