Summary

For over twenty years I've been focused on distribution throughput advancements, methodologies and practices for Amazon, Walmart, Target, Lowe's and The Home Depot. Successfully managing the development, manufacturing, testing and the launch of multiple automated and non-automated distribution solutions for these high profile and high market volume customers is why Tractor Supply Company should consider myself for this prestigious role. Before entering into the Material Handling Industry, the primary focus was on the automated design of conveyance and packaging for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry. However, as the experience with AS/RS, Pallet Shuttles, and AGV's transpired with Hyster-Yale Group, Jungheinrich and KION Group the understanding of the supply chain future would become evidently clear.

More recently, over the last five years I have been intimately involved with the proposal, award, installation, testing and launch of multiple solutions provided by KION Group via its subsidiaries DEMATIC, Linde and STILL. If selected, the intent would be to drive this experience of highly efficient product distribution into the Tractor Supply organization.

Based on experience, one solution does not apply for all use cases. While certain applications require the use of manual or automate VNA Industrial Trucks, others may benefit from low cost AGV's. Each distribution use case requires detailed analysis to fully understand the most efficient and cost impactful solution.
