• Monitor inmate activity
• Process incoming inmates, complete necessary intake paperwork, search inmates for contraband, obtain and secure inmates' personal property, assign and escort inmates to proper holding facilities, and advise inmates of Detention Center rules and regulations.
• Oversee security and activities of inmates; supervise meals and cleaning of facility. Distribute personal property; monitors inmates' medial status and takes actions when illness or injury is suspected.
• Distribute personal hygiene items, meals, linens, clothing, and other items to inmates; checks on intoxicated and other inmates in special medical or mental conditions.
• Prepare inmates for court.
• Supervise inmates in cleaning of cells, office areas, clothes, and linens.
