Started a small niche Ready Mix Concrete Company in the Charlotte NC Metro Region. We had five 4 yard Ready Mix trucks and one 8 yard truck as well. The first of it's kind in NC. We went from 0 sales to over $1,000,000.00 plus in sales in the first 4 years in business, The 2008 financial crisis hit and it hurt considerably, and changed our long range plans. We were still making money on paper, but not personally. We closed our doors in December 2013 on our own accord and I went to work for Pavestone. Owning my own company was a great experience, and it also gave me more of an appreciation in working for others.
I was in the top 10% of sales with the largest Aerial Platform Dealer in the US at the time. We sold and rented scissor lifts, telescopic boom lifts and Scaffolding throughout NC and SC. Left to start my own company.
