Team Lead/Client Relationship Manager/Sr. Paralegal

- Paralegal to Client Relationship Manager and then to Team Lead role
- Translated significant demonstrated immigration law experience in handling complex legal cases and client relationships
- Work under the supervision of a firm partner and maintain oversight of immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications and petition preparation/filing by paralegals
- Heavy experience with H-1B, L-1, E-2, and TN visas, as well as O-1 and P visas
- High level expertise in employment-based green card petitions including EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3
- Participate in facets of the recruitment process for new paralegals including resume review, interviews, and assessing candidate qualifications
- Provide initial training to them to set expectations and performance standards for roles
- Team Lead duties include:
- Manage end-to-end paralegal relations including mid-year performance reviews, PTO requests, maintaining salary records, managing timecards, and assigning cases to a team of 3-4 paralegals
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to paralegals for email correspondence, creating questionnaires, and identifying and mitigating escalated issues during case initiation and preparation
- Conduct monthly team meetings, coordinate with supervising partner, as well as conduct first and second level quality control review
- Client Relationship Manager duties included:
- Functioned as primary liaison between the firm’s largest client’s high-level contacts including Human Resources
- Legal, and Senior Executives; address and resolve a wide variety of case-related queries registered by the clients including case status reminders, meeting agenda/summaries, and intake guidance
- Generated weekly, monthly and bi-monthly internal and external use reports.
