My career has been in retail. Most of my career has been in some type of management. I enjoy leading a team and helping people grow while upholding the company vision.
Responsible for leading and managing a group of Bulk CR's, weekend Merchandisers, as well as Part-time Merchandisers. Responsible for weekend schedules assuring all routes in the territory are covered, as well as making sure routes are covered during the week. Responsible for the following duties:
Reaching territory sales plans including company Big Bets each year. Controlling territory product break shrink and implementing the labor budget..Completing store rotation audits and route rides with direct reports. Completing payroll for direct reports on a weekly basis. Completing various trackers specific to the Bulk side of the business.
As an assistant store manager I was responsible for opening or closing the store according to the schedule. Was responsible for stocking designated department with the team working in that department. Made a biweekly schedule. Helped run the front end at peak times of business.
Was responsible for helping lead the front end in the evenings. Once the store closed all the cashiers would bring the tills to the office and count them while I verified they were correct. I would then enter each of them into the company records and prepare the deposit for the next day.
