Summary

Highlighting lived experience with a parent and child who have significant mental health issues, while watching what addiction can do to the family unit and in the school system. I am driven by the lack thereof in mental health across communities, specifically in these school systems. I am looking to enhance my role in education by working with those marginalized and pushed on throughout the school system without having their mental health issues acknowledged and treated.
