My time here at Starbucks has given me nothing but many opportunities to show and improve my craft as a barista, coworker and overall friend to many of my peers. I'm always striving to do better and eager to learn more as an employee and hopefully an even higher position.

The listed points below are just some of the skills I've taken from my time here so far and intend to continue using in future potential positions that I may seek to pursue:

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while following standard recipes and techniques.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of my work area to ensure efficient operations.
• Assisting customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering inquiries.
• Operating espresso machines and grinders, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
• Collaborating with team members to meet peak service demands during busy hours.
• Adapting quickly to changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Promoting a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and promptly addressing their needs and concerns.

My school at the time required athletes to care for any of the fields that were played on. During this time I had played soccer and helped paint and organize the fields, pull out any weeds and lay down mulch. This volunteer work was always during the summer and all the way until the season ended in December. Even still I would help during the girls season in the spring.
