Currently I supervise special operations enforcement teams consisting of Vice/Narcotics, Street Crimes, K-9 Officers, the Driving While Impaired Taskforce, and manage the airwing division of the Sheriff's Office.
Responsible for 30-35 personnel on a daily basis and operate and manage a budget for this division.
For the current year, my division has been responsible for a record year seizure of over 3.4 million dollars in U.S. currency, 322 kilograms of cocaine, 22 kilograms of heroin, 90 kilograms of methamphetamine, and 1,200 pounds of marijuana.
Served 7 years as a Deputy Sheriff before being promoted to a Corporal. Six months later was promoted to a Sergeant where I was a first line supervisor on the road and as a Detective Sergeant for 8 years before being promoted to Lieutenant where I served as Assistant Division Commander for 2 years.
