Acute Care Therapist:

• Performed evaluations of patients to assess their physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial functioning in the acute care setting.
• Participated in all interviews for OTs and COTAs for the acute care department, with a focus on assessing the clinical skills of an applicant.
• Managed a caseload involving patients on all units, including critical care, medical surgical, and progressive floors.
• Critical care therapist responsible for orienting OTs and PTs in MSICU/CVICU, provided mentorship and supervision for rehab staff, ensuring safety, and patient-centered care in intensive care units.
• Developed and created competencies and documentation for interdisciplinary rounding for therapy staff. Re-established critical care rounding for therapy staff.

• Assess and treat the occupational skills of the family and infant, from delivery to discharge, in the hospital environment of a Level II NICU.
• Comprehensive management of infants and families, providing neuroprotective and developmentally appropriate interventions to promote long-term developmental skills and reduce adverse experiences of infants.
• Interpreting the neurobehavioral, neuromotor, musculoskeletal, and sensory systems of the preterm infant; providing intervention to support these systems.
• NANT competency to be completed by August 2025.
