Research Study: The Relationship between Social Media Use and Self-Perception in College Students- Research Methods in Psychology 09/23-11/23

• Worked collaboratively with a group of 5 to design and carry out a research study examining the relationship between college students' self-perception and social media use
• Engaged proactively with group members to create surveys and assorted data collection methods
• Engaged with group members to conduct a multiple regression analysis of the gathered data to derive insights and conclusions
• Concluded that based on our results, when social media addiction increased, self-perception decreased
• Determined limitations of the dataset

Research Project: Parenting Styles: Nurturing Success in Academia and Career Decisions- Human Growth and Development 09/23-11/23

• Collaborated with 3 other students to conduct an extensive literature review on the topic, utilizing databases, scholarly articles and journals
• Interpreted and synthesized previous literature to draw connections and aided in identifying themes within the research
• Partnered with team members to create a cohesive poster to present findings and presented information to peers
