Charlie Mata

My name is Charlie Mata, and I am an 18-year-old student at Commonwealth High School in Charlotte, NC. I am currently taking a Health Science class and working toward earning my CPR certification. I am excited to apply for the Patient Transporter position at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center because it aligns perfectly with my goal of beginning a meaningful career in healthcare.

Even though I’m just starting my professional journey, I am passionate about helping others and providing care with respect and empathy. Through my health science coursework, I’ve developed a strong interest in patient care, safety, and teamwork—skills I’m eager to put into practice in a real healthcare environment.

I admire Novant Health’s mission to deliver remarkable care to every patient, and I would be honored to contribute to that mission. I take pride in being dependable, positive, and eager to learn from experienced staff. I know that even small acts of kindness and professionalism can make a big difference in a patient’s day, and I hope to bring that attitude to your team.
