Oversee daily operations and activities on bridge project sites, including managing work schedules, supervising and verifying tasks completed by assigned personnel, and performing monthly quantity computations for payment processing. Plan and allocate assignments and equipment for upcoming tasks, while closely monitoring project timelines to ensure completion within budget and on schedule. Ensure seamless coordination across all aspects of the project to maintain efficiency and meet project objectives.

As a Structure Inspector on the award-winning Salem Parkway (Bus40) Project in Winston-Salem, I was responsible for ensuring that all structural work, including bridges and walls, was completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. My duties included verifying the contractor's work performance, preparing detailed daily reports, and conducting material testing and sampling to ensure compliance with NCDOT policies and procedures. Additionally, I accurately calculated daily and monthly quantities for documentation and payment purposes, utilizing NCDOT SharePoint Software to track and manage project data.

I have extensive experience as a Supervisor, responsible for the day-to-day management and safety of crew members. As a Project Supervisor, I have successfully led projects ranging from $500,000 to $6,000,000, working closely with both NC DOT and SC DOT. My role involved overseeing various subcontractors and coordinating tasks across multiple disciplines, including grading, rebar installation (rodbusters), drilled shafts, seeding and mulching, guardrail installation, and paving. I have also managed the construction of a wide range of bridge types, from single-span cored slab and box beam bridges to multi-span and concrete deck bridges. My comprehensive knowledge spans the entire lifecycle of bridge construction, from initial planning through to project completion.

I began my career as a laborer, quickly advancing to the role of carpenter, and then progressing to leadman. The last two years, I held the position of supervisor, where I successfully led teams and managed projects. This progression has provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the industry, from hands-on labor to project oversight and leadership.
