Execute the simulation and treatment for patients using 3D, IMRT, SBRT and SRS techniques. Perform daily warmup and QA procedures on the Truebeam accelerator and the Sensus Superficial Unit. Delivered daily radiation therapy treatments using 3D, IMRT and SBRT plans in a department where the patient load averages 18-25 patients daily. Performed daily warmup of the Truebeam, daily imaging procedures using OBI imaging and CBCT imaging for treatment area localization. Monitored and documented patient progress throughout the course of treatment with Aria software.

Delivered daily radiation treatments using 3D, IMRT, and IGRT, SBRT and SRS techniques on Varian and Elekta Accelerators. Performed daily MV, KV, and CBCT imaging. Documentation in Mosaiq and Aria software. Proficient in Vision RT. Assisted with setup and treatment of HDR procedures using Mammosite and vaginal cylinders. Served as a clinical supervisor for radiation therapy students.

Established and assisted with opening of a state of the art Radiation Oncology department. Performed daily treatment for 3D, IMRT and SBRT patients on Varian Trilogy with CBCT and KV imaging for treatment localization. Performed CT scanning for treatment planning. Assisted with ordering supplies and equipment necessary for a new department, trained and educated a nurse with patient education procedures. Established treatment protocols and simulation procedures for all patient care. Established scheduling, treatment, simulation and charging protocols within the department.

Performed treatment to 30-35 patients daily on Varian EX accelerators. Performed conventional simulations with CBCT capabilities and assisted with CT scanning for treatment planning. Was very involved with treatment delivery for HDR Prostate, vaginal cylinders and Mammosite procedures. Performed treatment of superficial radiation.

Worked as a Radiation therapist on assignment at UNC-Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC and Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City, NC. Provided 3D and IMRT treatments and performed conventional simulation procedures at both locations. Worked on Varian 2100-C accelerators, Portal Vision and Acuity Simulator with Mosaiq and VARIS Record and Verify software. Involved with educating radiation therapy students at both locations.

Treated approximately 30-35 patients daily where department load ranged between 130-140 patients daily. Performed conventional simulation on Ximatron, treatment planning and CT/Simulation procedures on Siemens Volume Access CT scanner with IV contrast injections using a Medrad IV contrast power injector. Performed dosimetry calculations. Reviewed and completed charge audits and other billing procedures on patient records with IMPAC Record and Verify system. Established protocols for HDR and simulation procedures. Actively participated as a preceptor for radiation therapy students.

Treated approximately 30-35 patients daily using 2D/3D treatment plans on Siemens MX, KD, and MD accelerators. Obtained radiographic images with the Linac and developed the films in a Radiologic dark room. Assisted in simulation procedures on a Siemens Simatron Simulator and HDR implants. Participated in writing of Policy and Procedures of HDR implants. Performed dosimetry calculations.
