As a resident camp counselor, my primary responsibility is to establish a safe, enjoyable, and positive atmosphere for campers during their entire stay. I supervise and support a group of campers in their cabins, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times. A crucial aspect of my role involves working at the pool, where I assist in monitoring swim times, ensuring camper safety, and facilitating water-based activities. Additionally, I contribute to managing schedules, resolving conflicts, and embodying respectful and inclusive behavior. Through collaborative efforts with fellow staff and meaningful connections with campers, I contribute to an unforgettable and enriching camp experience.
