Receptionist duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, professionally handling phone and email inquiries, ensuring clear communication of facility policies, and upholding confidentiality through precise record management
- Manage reservations and schedule appointments while maintaining accurate records in the facility's computer system
- Oversee a structured intake and boarding process, verifying that all guests meet facility requirements and follow established procedures prior to admission
- Check in boarding clients, review feeding instructions, medications, and any specialized care details
- Processing payments and handling financial transactions
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or issues
Boarding Attendant duties:
- Monitoring dogs to ensure safety and watching for/correcting any bad behavior
- Administer meals and medication according to each dog’s specific diet and schedule
- Organize and monitor multiple playgroups during the day, as well as walks and other activities
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, frequently cleaning and sanitizing rooms, washing dishes, cleaning potty areas, play areas, etc.
- Keep record of all dog’s behavior, health, and any incidents that occur during the dog’s stay.
- Assist in training and socializing dogs and assessing their temperament around humans and other dogs.
