Working as Target Asset Protection, my role was to act as a physical deterrent with my uniform. I would conduct random receipt checks, watch self checkout, review CCTV for external and internal shrink, create cases, look for safety issues, and help influence a safe work environment.

Working as a cashier, I improved my customer service skills and communication to help give customers an enjoyable shopping experience at Target.

While working as a closing expert, I was in charge of making sure all closing tasks were completed, while also assisting in different departments to make sure their tasks were completed on time. I also ensured we had our pickup orders out on time and assisted the team when needed.

Working for Lowe's AP, I am in charge of external theft and safety issues in 6 different locations, with my home location being Capital Blvd., Raleigh. My role as an APA involves making stops (APPs) and creating cases (KTR and RWD) to file with local law enforcement. Once filed with law enforcement, I then go to court as a Lowe's representative to get restitution and charges brought apon our different subjects. In my role, it is very important to make connections/contacts with PD and the court systems such as ADA and DA, which all have been great in helping reduce external shrink. I also help influence safety by making sure employees are following company and OSHA policies. I use Microsoft software, as well as CCTV and flock camera systems to help me create my reports and determine shrink.
