I am currently working corrections in a clinic type setting. Completing wound care, vital signs, sick calls, triage of tasks, medication administration, and assisting Providers with procedures and offender care. I am proficient with phlebotomy and lab processing.

I worked in the corrections setting. I completed sick calls, diabetic care, labwork when needed, IVs when ordered, dressing changes, medical emergencies that can involve trauma, and general clinic duties.

I was working working in an express care clinic. I also assisted physicians within the medical group as needed. I was rooming patients, taking vitals signs, updating the EMR, and assisting with providers in baskets. I also assisted with procedures, sutures, splints, wounds, giving ordered medications. I also placed IVs and administer IV medications if ordered. I was also called upon at times to perform phlebotomy in the lab.

I worked a med surg cardiopulmonary unit. I have extensive experience with pulmonary issues, trachs, peritoneal dialysis, IV placement, lab draws. I deal daily with multiple physicians, physician orders, pharmacy, medication administration, treatments and patient care. I also have experience with procedure assistance, paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC line placement, bedside incision and drainage.

I worked with the geriatric population, specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia. I worked closely with physicians, assisting with rounds, transcribing orders, prepared and administered medications, inserted and maintained IV's, treatments that were ordered, lab draws, trachs, and general nursing care.
