As a Nurse Extern in the Labor and Delivery department at HCA, I work with the nurses to care for patients in labor, record vital signs and perform CBG's when needed. I set up sterile delivery tables for the doctors to utilize during delivery. I work at the front desk triage to get emergency patients into the system and assist the nurses with their needs.

I have worn many hats at Paint Rock Farm. I worked as a housekeeper initially then moved up to managing the housekeeping staff. Streamlined housekeeping operations by implementing efficient scheduling and task allocation systems. I improved overall cleanliness scores with thorough inspections and prompt corrective actions as needed. I work as a wedding tour guide and as a wedding receptionist host as well.

At Mission Childrens Reuter Outpatient I worked PRN as a float CNA. This allowed me to work in every department recording vital signs and updating patient information.I worked in Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Surgery, Pulmonary, and then spent six months in Child Safety. Gaining knowledge and experience in these areas allowed me to effectively care for these children and help their families navigate their new normal.

Working as a medical assistant I took vital signs and checked patients in for their appointments. I assisted with in office procedures. I assisted in the lab with phlebotomy and running tests. Improved patient experiences by efficiently managing appointments and maintaining organized medical records. Enhanced clinic efficiency by assisting physicians with routine procedures and diagnostic tests.

As a CNA at Mission Children's Reuter Outpatient Hospital I worked with the Pediatric Neurologist and Psychologist. I helped the Registered Nurse organize and return phone calls to families about patient care. I helped to reduce patient stress levels through effective communication and active listening skills. I was able to enhance patient care by providing compassionate and attentive care to children who were afraid and families who needed support.
