Alyssa Clymer

A dedicated pre-law student studying history and legal studies, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in contract law. Through academic coursework, she has developed strong research, writing, and analytical skills, deepening her interest in legal and professional writing. In addition to her academic work, her experience as Treasurer and Vice President of the High Point University History Club has strengthened her leadership, budgeting, and project management abilities, including hands-on experience in historical exhibit design through a Public History course. She is actively seeking pre-law opportunities where she can apply her academic knowledge and gain practical experience in preparation for a future legal career.

High Point Museum Exhibit, 05/24

• Worked in an upper-division history course to put together a public history display on the history of music in High Point. Focused on exhibit design and facilitating communication throughout the different exhibit teams.

• Handling club communication and event planning. Facilitating direct communication with faculty advisor and both the executive council and other club members

• Oversaw club communication and event planning. Trained Treasurer on the expectations for monitoring club finances and communication with the Student Government Association.
