Navy and Marine Corps Medal Recipient

Received medal for leading and restoring Electrical Safety procedures to the USS George Washington. Supervising 7 Electrical Safety Shops consisting of 30 people in the electrical ratings on board the ship. This position requires maintaining inventory, calibration, and maintenance on all $325,000 worth of inventory. At the end of each fiscal year Commanding Officer conducted the electrical safety inspection, and myself and two others were credited with a flawless inspection. This inspection and steps that were taken then led to the changes in the Navy Ships Technical Manual 300.
